I first encountered this problem a few months back after a large windows update.
I accept cleared the information and history and reset the EDGE app via settings, as you advised.
My Windows version is 1709 (OS Build 16299.125)

I managed to find Powershell, pasted the code as you said and I received this message:

I am not using an administrator account, just my ain Microsoft account. I have tried the Repair and reset Microsoft edge section.

Hi,
We've followed the thread to see the progress of the issue. For the Powershell command, y'all need to run it as an administrator to be able to execute the control.
